I've been through numerous microphones over the years, but none have touched the quality and features of the THX. If you need a "real live" broadcast mic, this is it! I'm in the agency business and voice all commercials for my clients.

I had purchased this product based on the reviews that is it a great solution for iPhone and iPad recording using the camera adaptor. However it is no longer possible to use it for this as apple have restricted the power output of their devices with the upgrade to IOS 5, so this is completely...
I'm not a huge audiophile, nor do I know a whole lot beyond some basics about setting things up for recording, But what I can say as a gamer and infrequent streamer is that the Yeti is a high quality, reasonably priced bit of kit.
If you're thinking hard whether to get this microphone due to the price then don't get it. It looks luxurious and is very easy to hook up but it's overkill for most people. I think it's too expensive for what you get.
Easy to set up; Various microphone patterns for various situations; On-microphone gain control
Bulky; Sound is a little too "warm"; No XLR or 3.5mm microphone out, only USB; Expensive
Been using this mic for a few years now. I am a fan - the mount is awful and surly for no reason so I'd recommend buying something else when you can. Keep in mind that an arm mount for it will not work well since the mic is extremely heavy.
I am often let down by purchasing items on the internet sight unseen. However, this purchase left me pleasantly surprised at the build quality. Such a large, heavy, solid gadget!
Got the Yeti a couple of days ago and connected it up to my Macbook pro running Lion and had no issues at all. I was recording in a couple of minutes of unboxing. Also works like a charm on my iPad 2 but does need a powered hub (I have a small Belkin one) to work.
I had a bit of trouble setting it up to begin with, but once I got it set up I was set! It such a great microphone for streaming (or whatever you want to use it for), easy to set up and idiot friendly.
The Yeti is one of the most advanced and versatile multi-pattern USB microphones available anywhere. Combining three capsules and four different pattern settings (Stereo, Cardioid, Omnidirectional & Bidirectional) the Yeti ...
This microphone was a great purchase allows for better quality communication. I run two meetings a week and having this microphone has allowed for better more crisp communication and get rid of my headphones mic. Worth the purchase!
