I am a school teacher with aging classroom infrastructure. This speaker has been a wonderful investment. I use it at home and in the classroom, where it has much more volume and clarity than the tinny-sounding, too quiet classroom speakers.
I researched, compared and ooh aahed on almost all the bluetooth speakers available in Australia. Read exhaustively the reviews left by buyers/users/bloggers/reviewers both locally and internationally. And was lucky enough to actually speak to some of the users.
The performance is great and love how easy it is to turn on and off on the UE app. The color is vibrant.
I brought this for my partners birthday present and to be honest, he loves it!! Thank you guys for supplying the goods as per usual! ?? I literally recommend it for anyone who just loves music.
It's nice!
Tough, loud and bags of fun. Ultimate Ears’ hot streak continues
Bassier than before; So very loud; IP67 makes it even more durable; PartyUp is a great (if a little terrifying) feature; Magic Button isn’t magic; but we’re glad it’s there
No Spotify playlists; No USB-C; We miss the volume strap
Whether you’re having a barbecue party by the poolside or out camping in the wilderness, adding your favorite playlist to your outdoor adventure will guarantee more fun. But with the wide selection of portable Bluetooth speakers out on the market today, it can become a bit of a challenge to...
The Megaboom 3 is an Ultimate Ears cylindrical speaker that floats, and it’s brilliant
Waterproof (IP67) and floats; Sumptuous design; Integrates with streaming services over Bluetooth;
Doesn’t sound as good as the UE Megablast; No Bluetooth aptX support;
The Megaboom 3 didn’t have to do a whole lot to build on the brilliant foundations set by its forerunner. It’s still rugged as hell, easy on the eye and gloriously noisy, while the low end enhancements make it easy to recommend. If, like this writer, you’re of the Apple Music persuasion, summoning playlists with the Magic Button is great, and I can see it being a popular feature for those who work out at home. It’s just a shame the Spotify crowd aren’t afforded the same privilege. The speaker feels nice in the hand, but I’m equally happy to fling it into my backpack without a care. For holidays, road trips, festivals and all-day picnics in the park, Ultimate Ears’ latest is a no-brainer. Booming brilliant.
