I'm pleased with this compact camera so far. I'm a photographer who also owns a full frame Canon slr so this is a nice camera to take when out and about with friends. It's a really good size and versatile.

Canon’s new Mark III comes with some neat upgrades
The Canon PowerShot G7 X III is a compact, well-priced camera which offers very good image quality, a fast lens, good ergonomics and the ability to stream live video straight to YouTube.
Those seeking a pocketable camera with a versatile lens that will perform better in low light than a typical compact; Vloggers.
Action and landscape photographers; Those who want an EVF for shooting outdoors.
This is a camera that has evolved with the times and caters to the needs of present-day users with connectivity, high-end video capabil...
Although the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III has a lot in common with its predecessor, I think the addition of 4K video and the live streaming capability make it a worthy upgrade. It looks set to become a very popular camera amongst vloggers and anyone looking to reach an audience quickly and easily.
When it comes to big companies that rule the camera market, Canon is one of the first names that comes to our minds. The company, which is largely known for its DSLR cameras, also has a range of point-and-shoot cameras in India going by the ‘Powershot’ moniker.
The PowerShot G7 X Mark III faces some strong competition from the likes of Sony and Panasonic, but with a longer-than-usual lens, great handling and a whole suite of niceties for videographers, it succeeds in offering enough to warrant its place in a populated section of the market.
Great handling and build quality; Effective face detection; Responsive and clear touchscreen; Mic port is a very nice touch; Very effective image stabilization; Nice colors in images;
No hotshoe for external mics; No built-in viewfinder; Slightly aggressive noise reduction; AF system a little dated; Overexposure frequently occurs
The G7X Mark III is a great little camera with bags of features and charm. It's a pocket-friendly shooter with a one-inch sensor, great image and video quality, and a host of features that appeal to both stills and video shooters. At £700 it’s not cheap, so if you’re on a budget, check out the older model if you don’t need the advanced video features.
Great video features; Pocket friendly; Manual controls and Raw format shooting;
No viewfinder; 4K not available in manual/semi-automatic modes; No hotshoe or cold shoe for external accessories; No headphone socket;
Adds 3.5mm microphone input - useful for vloggers; Adds 4K video shooting capabilities; Impressive image quality from new 1-inch sensor;
It's a lot pricier than previous model; Autofocus lacks complexity of some competitors; 3.5mm mic input not useful for the masses;
