Fantastic ear buds. Awesome sound, great fit and easy to use and set up.
Great sound and good fit but the noise cancelling just does not work. Tried multiple sets and the same issue across all of them. Expected better for a product with a premium price tag.
Overall good. Only down side is if you did want to listen with just one ear it has to be the right on.
The company's latest in-ears have a two-year water damage warranty, wireless charging, noise canceling, and a mighty cozy fit.
Comfortable, ergonomic design. 2-year warranty against water damage. Excellent noise canceling. Top tier sound and call quality. Wireless charging case. Solid battery life. IPX4 water resistant. Physical buttons!
More expensive than the (still-great) Elite 75t.
Jabra has done an excellent job upping their game to keep up in a very competitive and saturated market. The addition of fully adjustable Active Noise Cancelling, larger 12mm drivers, and better HearThrough/noise reduction/mic array while keeping the Elite’s compact form factor and design is...
Small compact design, Excellent listening experience, Solid active noise cancelling, Wireless & USB-C charging, Magnetic charging case, Good battery life: 5.5 hours of ANC use between charges, Well done app with ability to customize listening/user experience, 2-year warranty against dust and...
Jabra’s $180 Elite 75t and $200 Elite Active 75t are two of the best true wireless earbuds you can buy. They’re comfortable, they sound great, they have decent battery life, and they can resist a lot of water and dust. And as of October, they also have active noise cancellation (ANC). Who could ask for anything more? And yet, more is exactly the goal of the new $230 Jabra Elite 85t, which promise better sound and improved noise-canceling thanks to a new hybrid ANC system. They also aim to end occlusion — that feeling some people get when wearing in-ear earbuds that their ears are stuffed with cotton. Lofty goals indeed. Did Jabra succeed? Let’s find out. First, some praise for Jabra: The Elite 85t ship in a very small and fully recyclable box. A few tiny plastic adhesive labels remain, but for the most part, it’s an exceptionally environmentally friendly package. Inside that box are the Elite 85t, already nestled in their charging case, a USB-C charging cable, two sets of silicone eart...
Very comfortable; Excellent sound quality; Excellent noise cancellation; Customizable controls; Excellent call quality; Wireless charging;
Average battery life; No aptX or LDAC;
Jabra's top earplug model does not take up much space. But it is filled with good solutions.
Excellent and variable noise reduction. The case can be charged wirelessly.
Not aptX support. The noise reduction detracts from the sound quality.
Equipped with powerful specs and impressive ANC, the Jabra Elite 85t is a stellar-sounding sequel in Jabra’s critically beloved series. The Elite 85t is a great pair of noise-cancelling headphones that deserves recognition in the best-in-class conversation.
Bold, dynamic sound, Strong active noise cancellation, Deluxe design, Lots of personalization features via companion app, Robust spec sheet
Some bugs in the system, Battery life could be better
The Jabra Elite 85t is a step up in every way from the previous generations. Jabra has stepped up to the plate and delivered many little and not so little improvements and changes, and together the whole is great than the sum of its parts.
The Jabra Elite 85t Wireless true wireless earbuds are an excellent product with active noise-cancelling features. It’s a premium-looking pair that you can check out in our Jabra Elite 85t Wireless true wireless earbuds review.
