the download speed is very fast. and easy to install.

I brought this router not long ago with the hope it will boost wireless signal and assist in increasing speed. However, the router has dropped signal 3 times in 1 month with my previous router never dropping out. The app is great and the router other than dropping out has no issues.

At first, I liked this router thanks to its great admin interface and good speed. But after a few weeks, it drives me crazy. It looses its connection, becomes unresponsive, or the speed drops to 0.5mbps multiple times a day, and it often requires me to disconnect and reconnect my laptop to fix it. I already updated the firmware and tried different settings without success. Furthermore, the range is very bad. 10m away in my bedroom, the connection is so unreliable that video streaming is no longer possible.

I used this router for months and was in many discussion with Asus to try and get a wifi issue solved. With devices being disconnected constantly, even after turning off every feature that made this device worth while (as per instructions from Asus) the issue persisted. I ended up having to return it under warranty as it is simply not usable. I work with wifi for a living and it is clearly a firmware issue but Asus seem disinterested in solving the fault.

I bought this wireless router a month ago. It was an upgrade from a telstra modem and let me tell you that I now have wifi over my whole house! I use to have a black spot at one end of my house that has disappeared completely thanks to this router. I am connected to nbn fttp 1000/50 and I get those speeds easily with this router. The configuration menu is easy to navigate and setup using the app was a breeze.
