“It's the most fun you'll have scooping up debris on hard floors since the invention of the Swiffer.”
“It's the most fun you'll have scooping up debris on hard floors since the invention of the Swiffer.”
This is, hands-down, the most manoeuvrable vacuum cleaner we’ve used. It takes a lot of the labour out of vacuuming. But it’s for hard floors only and its tiny bin and short battery life mean it’s a one trick pony, even if that one trick is very, very good.
Manoeuvrable; Easy to use; Light; Slim; Affordable;
Short battery life; No battery warning light; Tiny bin that clogs easily; No grip on the handle;
We tested the new Dyson Omni-glide vacuum cleaner to see if it’s as good as the price tag suggests.
Formidable suction power, Truly capable of cleaning in all directions
Only 20 minutes of run time, Not strictly designed for carpets
While I think the Dyson Omni Glide is a bit overpriced, there’s nothing like it in the market right now. Its ability to turn 360-degrees is potentially game-changing and changes the way consumers clean hard floors.
Industry-first, Side to side movement, Slim design, Lightweight and very ergonomic, Detachable battery, It retains the hygienic system – easy to empty
Not usable, Expensive, Small dustbin, Hair will wrap
If you've got a smaller home with hard floors then the Omni-glide will do a sterling job for you, but as ever with Dyson you pay dearly for the privilege.
Super cleaning for hard floors; Omni-directional head is brilliantly engineered; Simple dirt-bin emptying; Easy maintenance;
Short battery life; Handle not that comfortable; Can't see how much battery is left;
The Dyson Omni-glide is a completely new Dyson design, specifically aimed at small apartments with hard floor throughout
Highly manoeuvrable; Light; User-replaceable battery;
Small bin; Doesn’t work on carpets; Short battery life;
A very small and flexible vacuum, the Dyson Omni-glide is a top cleaner for hard floors, and a great handheld vacuum for smaller spills. As such, it excels for use in apartments or as a grab-and-go cleaner in larger homes.
Very light, Powerful, Incredibly easy to manoeuvre, Looking for a powerful vacuum cleaner for hard floors, either for an apartment or as a grab-and-go cleaner for smaller jobs? Then the Dyson Omni-glide is both incredibly powerful and light.
Not ideal for use on carpet, If you’re after greater flexibility, and need a vacuum cleaner to tackle a fair amount of carpet, then you’d be better off looking elsewhere.
Dyson Omni-vac could be the perfect solution if you have hard floors and are fed up wrestling with a more heavyweight cordless stick vac. This new featherweight contender floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee, with surprisingly good suction for its size
Exceptionally light in the hand, Perfect for hard floors and rugs, Steers like a guppy, Decent suction, Good running times, Easy to empty
Small roller head, No good on thick carpets
The Dyson Omni-glide is a new type of vacuum for hard floors that can be maneuvered in any direction. Its two-brush-bar cleaning head can cover a wider area in one sweep, and its powerful suction is almost on par with more expensive Dyson models.
Powerful suction, Easy to maneuver into small spaces, Compact and lightweight
Expensive, Small dust canister, Short battery life
