The 2022 flagship earbuds from Jabra feel like a step back in performance compared to the earlier Elite 85t. The active noise-cancellation (ANC) is weak on the new model - not ideal, as that's likely to be the top feature you're looking for - and while there's a slimmer design and great customisation options, it's not enough to overcome these headphones' issues (unless you're using them in a quiet place).
Compact design; IP57 dust/water-proofing; Lots of customisation;
Active noise-cancelling (ANC) is ineffective; Exterior noise isolation weak; Poor fit (for our ears);
The Jabra Elite 7 Pro bring a lot of premium features (like wireless charging and IP57 waterproofing) to a lower price point than many of its competitors, which makes the buds a great buy even though the audio and noise-cancelling aren't the best on the market.
Terrific value; IP57 rating; Compact and comfortable;
Scooped audio profile; ANC is decent but not great
Discreet and comfortable design; Terrific fit and seal; Strong waterproof rating; Good call quality;
Elite 85t sound better; Tough competition;
The Jabra Elite 7 Pro offer an awful lot: good audio quality (especially for calls), excellent customisability, and impressive battery life.
Strong sound; Optimised for calls; Excellent passive noise cancelling; Impressive battery;
Active noise cancelling doesn't add much; Not the bassiest;
Really happy with these. So far, they're meeting my expectations when paired with both my phone and laptop.
The great quality sound I've become accustomed to in Jabra products continues with the Elite 7 Pro. A particularly useful improvement is the ability to use either bud on its own.
